Canva's community produced more than 12 billion designs in 2025 and received a refreshed Design DNA feature that provides a personalised creative identity card summarising each user's year in design.
The company said that designing social media content led creation with over 2 billion designs, with presentations, video, docs and whiteboards also common.
It said AI tools — including Canva AI, Background Remover, Magic Write, Magic Media and Magic Eraser — were widely used; users left 155.9 million comments, translated creations more than 17 million times, and used Brand Kit 5 billion times.

Each Canva user has their own Design DNA report which will outline each user's most-used design types and signature styles and assigns creative identities such as Font Stylist, Prompt Picasso, Chatter Box and Newbie, the company said.
The company highlighted trends including minimalist-style reels, travel moments, stylish video intros and a popular wedding invitation template, and invited users to discover and share their Design DNA and sign up for its newsletter.
