Bybit reaffirms monitoring of affiliate marketing in Korea
Bybit said it will actively monitor and restrict affiliate marketing activities that specifically target the Korean market and users.
The move follows public advisories from regulatory authorities, including in Korea, about illegal virtual asset operators and unreported marketing or brokerage activities, the company said in a statement.
The company said affiliates using referral or commission arrangements to target the Korean market will be subject to active oversight. Where the company becomes aware of such conduct, it may suspend or terminate the affiliate relationship and may restrict or remove commission rewards, in whole or in part.
These measures apply across channels, including social media, messaging platforms and websites, the company added.
