Bitget Wallet lists USA₮ stablecoin in move to expand compliant digital payments

Bitget Wallet has listed USA₮, a regulated, dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A. in collaboration with Tether.

The listing provides users with direct access to a compliant digital dollar within a self-custodial wallet environment.

In a statement, the company said USA₮ is designed to meet the requirements of the recently enacted GENIUS Act in the United States, positioning it as a payment instrument aligned with new digital asset regulations.

Bitget Wallet users can now view real-time prices, track balances, and transact with the token around the clock.

The company said the integration aims to streamline global payments using blockchain-based settlement, allowing near-instant transfers and avoiding traditional delays and fees associated with correspondent banking systems.

“Stablecoins are becoming the foundation of everyday digital finance,” said Jamie Elkaleh, Chief Marketing Officer at Bitget Wallet. The product is targeted at freelancers, content creators and small businesses with cross-border payment needs.

Bitget Wallet described itself as an everyday finance platform with over 90 million users worldwide.

It offers services to send, spend, earn and trade both crypto assets and stablecoins, and supports global on- and off-ramps. The company highlighted advanced security features and a $700 million user protection fund.

As a self-custodial wallet, Bitget Wallet stated it does not hold or manage user funds, private keys or personal data.
