Audible is releasing new full‑cast productions of all seven Harry Potter books, with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets available to stream now and the remaining English‑language audiobooks released monthly through May 12.

The productions were created in partnership with Pottermore Publishing and total more than 2,000 recording hours to date for these complete, unabridged editions, the company said in a statement.

The new editions include an all‑new soundscape with produced sound effects, a full score and mixes in full Dolby Atmos, the company said. “Together with Pottermore Publishing, best‑in‑class producers, and over one hundred actors, we will introduce a groundbreaking new soundscape for the Wizarding World, as well as performances that will inspire our listeners’ imaginations and redefine these quintessential characters for a new generation,” said Bob Carrigan, CEO of Audible.

More than 200 voice actors took part, including Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort and Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, the company said. The company said the release schedule is: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Book 1) — November 4; Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Book 2) — December 16; Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (Book 3) — January 13; Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Book 4) — February 10; Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Book 5) — March 10; Harry Potter and the Half‑Blood Prince (Book 6) — April 14; and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Book 7) — May 12.
