Apple TV to stream Inter Miami vs Vancouver MLS Cup final for free this Saturday

Football (Soccer) fans around the world can this weekend tune in to Apple TV for free to watch the MLS Cup Final between Inter Miami and Vancouver Whitecaps.

David Beckham and Leo Messi's Inter Miami play at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday at 2:30pm Eastern (which is 11:30am Pacific, or7:30pm in the UK).

Apple TV, in a statement on Friday, said the stream would be free to air for users in more than 100 countries.

The game will be available live via the Apple TV app on Apple and Android devices, smart TVs, streaming devices, set-top boxes and game consoles, and on the web at tv.apple.com, Apple noted.

At the same time, The MLS Cup final will also be shown live in New York’s Times Square on SILVERCAST Media’s Mega-Zilla digital display, which spans an entire city block.

The MLS Cup game is the culmination of the MLS Season, the 'championship game 'that follows the playoffs' - in other words, American soccer's version of the Superbowl, Stanley Cup or World Series.

Pregame coverage on Apple TV begins at 1:30 p.m. ET with “MLS Countdown” and “MLS La Previa” broadcasting from Chase Stadium, followed by postgame shows “MLS Wrap-Up” and “MLS El Resumen” from the venue.

Apple said broadcast enhancements for the final include “more than 30 cameras — the most of any MLS Cup,” along with goal robotic cameras, a referee camera, dedicated ISO cameras on coaches and players, drone coverage and additional live footage from four iPhone 17 Pro Max devices positioned around the stadium.

Apple added that with the free Apple Sports app for iPhone, viewers can access play-by-play data, team statistics, lineup information, live betting odds and Live Activities while following the match.
