Apple TV renews Your Friends & Neighbors for season three

Apple TV has renewed Your Friends & Neighbors, the Jon Hamm-led drama, for a third season ahead of the season two premiere on 3 April.

The company unveiled a teaser and first-look images and confirmed that Emmy Award nominee James Marsden will join the cast. Returning cast members include Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt and Donovan Colan.

Created by Jonathan Tropper, who also serves as showrunner, director and executive producer, the series continues under Tropper Ink as part of his overall deal with Apple TV. Hamm executive produces alongside Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard and Lori Keith Douglas. Stephanie Laing directs six episodes of the upcoming season.

Season two follows Andrew Cooper, played by Hamm, as he doubles down on life as an unlikely suburban thief. A new neighbour arrives, threatening to expose his secrets and endanger his family.

Apple said the series has become one of its top-performing dramas globally, earning critical acclaim as “an addictive binge-watch” and praising Hamm as “an endlessly watchable avatar.”
