Apple scores BAFTA and ACE Eddie nominations for film and television slate

F1 and Severance feature among awards contenders ahead of February ceremonies

Apple scores BAFTA and ACE Eddie nominations for film and television slate

Apple has received four nominations at the BAFTA Film Awards and seven nominations at the American Cinema Editors Eddie Awards, the company said.

Apple said the BAFTA nominations include Best Sound, Best Special Visual Effects and Best Editing for F1, along with a Best Special Visual Effects nomination for The Lost Bus.

BAFTA winners will be announced on 22 February in London, the company said.

Apple said it also secured seven ACE Eddie nominations, including Best Edited Feature Film, Drama, Theatrical for F1, edited by Stephen Mirrione.

The company said Severance earned two nominations for Best Edited Drama Series, for the episodes “Chikhai Bardo” edited by Keith Fraase and “Cold Harbor” edited by Geoffrey Richman.

Additional nominations include Best Edited Drama Series for Pluribus, episode “We Is Us”, edited by Skip Macdonald, and Best Edited Single Camera Comedy Series for The Studio, episode “The Promotion”, edited by Eric Kissack.

Apple said Mr. Scorsese received a nomination for Best Edited Documentary Series for the episode “All This Filming Isn’t Healthy”, edited by David Bartner.

The company said The Gorge was nominated for Best Edited Feature Film, Non-Theatrical, edited by Frédéric Thoraval.

ACE Eddie winners will be announced on 27 February in Los Angeles, Apple said.

Apple said F1 has also received four Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Best Sound, Best Visual Effects and Best Editing, while The Lost Bus was recently nominated for Best Visual Effects.

All titles are now streaming globally on Apple TV, the company said.
