Apple is launching a unified platform for business customers that brings together three of its existing enterprise and marketing services under a single roof.
Called Apple Business, the new offering consolidates Apple Business Essentials, Apple Business Manager and Apple Business Connect into one service, available from April 14 at no charge to existing users of any of those products.
The platform covers mobile device management with a new Blueprints feature for zero-touch deployment, meaning IT teams can configure and distribute devices without handling them individually.
It also centralises the brand and location tools previously housed in Business Connect, giving companies control over how their presence appears across Apple Maps, including brand profiles, rich place cards, showcases and location insights.
Apple Maps advertising will follow later in the summer, with paid placements appearing in search results and a new Suggested Places feature, initially available in the United States and Canada.
Managed Apple Accounts will provide cryptographic separation of work and personal data, and automated account creation will be supported through identity providers, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Entra ID.
Paid tiers are available for organisations that need more: additional iCloud storage starts at $0.99 per user per month, scaling up to 2TB, while AppleCare+ for Business is priced at $6.99 per device per month or $13.99 per user per month covering up to three devices.
