Amazon updates Bee wearable AI assistant with new features

Amazon said Bee is designed to learn from conversations, emails and other information that customers choose to share, building a picture of daily activities to surface insights and prompts.

The company said Bee processes conversations in real time and does not store audio recordings. Since joining Amazon, the device has received several major updates, including the addition of Voice Notes, it added.

Amazon said Bee’s features include Actions, which can draft emails or create calendar invitations when users mention follow-ups, and Daily Insights, which highlight behavioural patterns over time. Other tools include Templates that generate contextual summaries and Voice Notes, which allow users to capture thoughts with a single button press.

The company also said the assistant can help with shopping tasks, including searching for products by activity or purpose, adding items to a basket, finding deals and automatically purchasing items once a set price is reached.
