Amazon to roll out Alexa+ across Samsung TVs and partner devices from 2026
The US technology group said its upgraded voice assistant will expand beyond Echo hardware, with Samsung smart televisions first to offer built-in support and further integrations planned with carmakers and consumer brands.
Amazon said it will expand Alexa+ across third-party devices and services, beginning with built-in support on Samsung smart televisions and followed by integrations with automakers and consumer brands from 2026.
Speaking at the Consumer Electronics Show, the Seattle-based company said Samsung will be the first third-party manufacturer to embed Alexa+ directly into its smart TVs, with early access available later this month on selected 2021 to 2025 models that already include Alexa.
Amazon said Samsung TV owners will be able to use natural voice conversations to search for content, control connected home devices and play music through their televisions, adding that Alexa+ will be available “when and where customers need it”.
The company also announced partnerships with Bosch and BMW. Bosch plans to introduce Alexa+ controls for coffee making, starting with its 800 Series fully automatic espresso machine in 2026, while BMW is showcasing the BMW iX3 with a next-generation BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant powered by Alexa+.
Amazon said its Alexa Custom Assistant platform is available to automakers and location-technology providers, with integrations already in place for HERE Technologies and TomTom.
The group added that Expedia, Yelp, Angi and Square will develop new “agentic” experiences for Alexa+, while health and wellness features are set to follow. An early access preview has been demonstrated with Oura, with further partnerships planned with Withings and Wyze.
