Amazon on Thursday launched a personalised, AI-powered feature called "Help Me Decide".
The tool, which compares and recommends "the best" choice for customers, threatens to kick the indecision and procrastination out of the baskets of Amazon customers everywhere.
Help Me Decide will, according to Amazon, analyze users' browsing activity, searches, shopping history, and preferences in order to make personalized recommendations.
“Help Me Decide saves you time by using AI to provide product recommendations tailored to your needs,” said Daniel Lloyd, Amazon's vice president of Personalization.
The feature is accessible in the Amazon Shopping app and on mobile browsers.
Under the hood, the Help Me Decide tech uses large language models and AWS services to match user preferences with product details and customer reviews.
