Agassi Sports Entertainment (ASE) has announced plans to launch the World Series of Pickleball, a new championship property it will develop in partnership with TEAM Marketing AG, a Switzerland-based sports events company.
The announcement builds on ASE's acquisition of the World Series of Pickleball trademark and associated rights in June 2025, which the company said provided the legal foundation for a scalable commercial property.
The event is planned to be headquartered and launched in Las Vegas, and is expected to include an open tournament and a team-based championship week open to players of all skill levels, supported by prize money, premium broadcast production and hospitality programming.
Ronald Boreta, chief executive of ASE, said pickleball, the paddle sport that has grown rapidly in popularity across North America and beyond, "is ready for a championship platform that combines competition, entertainment, and world-class production."
Simon Crouch, chief executive of TEAM Marketing, said the partnership aligned with his firm's ambition to "lead the evolution of sport."
TEAM Marketing, which ASE described as a global leader in sports event development and delivery, will guide event operations for the series.
ASE said it intends the World Series of Pickleball to function as a long-term commercial platform, with revenue streams spanning sponsorship, media rights, ticketing, hospitality and brand partnerships.
