10X Health and Verséa unveil mitochondrial test developed from NASA research

10X Health System and Verséa Discovery have launched 10X MitoScreen, a next-generation mitochondrial assessment tool designed to evaluate energy production and metabolic health. The test is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2026.

Offered through a strategic partnership between the two companies, 10X MitoScreen is powered by Verséa’s mescreen technology and builds on findings from the NASA Twins Study. The test uses a finger-prick blood sample to assess mitochondrial function, oxidative stress, metabolic balance and network dynamics, producing an integrated mitochondrial profile and score.

The companies said early access to the test is now available through Verséa Discovery’s mescreen platform, with full availability expected in early 2026.
